(EMU) – St. Kitts, April, 4 2016: The Sixth Registrar of the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), Mr. Glenroy Cumberbatch, visits the Federation on April 4th-5th for various stakeholder engagements. Social Communications Officer and Webmaster, Mr. Ayodele Pompey accompanies Mr. Cumberbacth on this trip to meet with high ranking education officials over the two-day period. Including, the Minister of Education - Hon. Shawn Richards, Permanent Secretary – Mr. Ionie Liburd Willett and Chief Education Officer – Dr. Tricia Esdaille. One scheduled event for Mr. Cumberbatch during this visit would be an interview on ZIZ Radio and Television. The purpose of this interview would be to update all interested persons on what is happening at CXC and receive feedback. The feed will be carried live by Von Radio, Winn FM and Freedom FM. Other events include a meeting with the Principals of both Primary and Secondary Schools on St. Kitts, as well as some members of the Parent Teachers Association and Education Officers. In addition, Mr. Cumberbatch and his colleague would have meetings with The Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Labour Department and representatives from the Hotel and Tourism Association
