(EMU) – St. Kitts, March 14, 2016: With the aim of educating and informing consumers, the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs would be hosting a Primary School Quiz on 15th March, 2016. This venture, included in their week of activities which runs from Monday 13th – Friday 18th March under the theme, “Antibiotics off the Menu”. The first ever Primary School quiz is in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the event would be held at the St. Georges Anglican Church Hall at 10:00 a.m. Participating schools are, George Moody Stuart, Saddlers Primary, Beach Allen Primary, St. Paul’s Primary and the Dieppe Bay Primary School. Other activities scheduled for this week are, Consumer Awareness programmes on various radio stations including, ZIZ, Sugar City Rock and Freedom FM, and a Consumer Affairs Appreciation Award Ceremony. World Consumer Rights Day is celebrated annually on March 15th to highlight cohesion within the International Consumer movement.
