A series of workshop hosted by the ministry of Education is taking place during the Month of January. The Training regime funded by the Taiwanese human Development Grant was designed to access a package of information and skills which would enable education officials to engage in the best practices that will lead to better performance in the classroom on the part of the students.

According to Mr. Blake these training sessions will seek to provide those who have been trained the where it all for capacity building. As a result of this training the various sectors in the Ministry will experience a paradigm shift in how information is dispensed.

The training is divided into various sectors that include teachers, Guidance Counselors, Education Officers, Principals and those persons who are weak and need special attention.
